Minister for Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has said Pakistan and China are time-tested and iron-clad friends whose ties have grown stronger with the passage of time and stood firm through every challenge.
He was addressing a ceremony marking the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.
The Minister said the friendship between the two countries is higher than the mountains, deeper than the oceans, and sweeter than honey, reflecting decades of unwavering trust, mutual support, and strategic cooperation.
He said Pakistan highly values China’s consistent support in its socio-economic development and regional connectivity initiatives.
Highlighting the significance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said CPEC is playing a vital role in infrastructure development, investment promotion, energy security, and industrial growth in Pakistan.
