A young Pakistani athlete, Masood Khan, has brought pride to the nation by setting a world record for running non-stop from Peshawar to Skardu.
He completed the extraordinary challenge in just nine days and covered a grueling distance of more than eight hundred kilometers.
Throughout this historic journey, Masood Khan traversed the difficult mountain terrain of the Karakoram Highway, passing alongside the Indus River and through the picturesque valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Masood Khan competed in Pakistan against athletes from many countries, including Russia, Japan, and China, and won numerous medals.
In a statement, he described the long run from Peshawar to Skardu as a unique, first-of-its-kind achievement.
He said achieving the target of eight hundred kilometers is a profound source of pride for both himself and the entire country.
