President Asif Ali Zardari has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening and expanding mutually beneficial ties with Sweden.
He stated this in a statement extending felicitations to the government and people of Sweden on their National Day.
The President expressed satisfaction with steady progress of bilateral engagements, particularly in fields of renewable energy, technology, telecommunications, textiles and agriculture.
He said Pakistan deeply values its long-standing and friendly relations with Sweden, established in 1949, which are built on a solid foundation of mutual respect and a shared commitment to international peace and cooperation.
