Following heavy rainfall in Tehsil Headquarters Noorpur Thal, the local administration responded swiftly by launching an immediate drainage operation. Teams from the Suthra Punjab initiative and other relevant departments were mobilised to remove rainwater from low-lying areas, streets, alleys, and marketplaces across the town.
Assistant Commissioner Shazia Rahman, Tehsildar Muhammad Zahid, Tehsil Manager Suthra Punjab Sanwal Khan, In-charge Sanitary Workers Municipal Committee Aqeel Abbas Khan Baloch, along with Municipal Committee staff and other field teams, remained on the ground to supervise and carry out the drainage work.
