District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha, Touqeer Muhammad Naeem, paid a late-night visit to Sahiwal and Tarkhanwala police stations to inspect administrative and operational arrangements.
During the visit, the DPO thoroughly reviewed the cleanliness of the police station buildings, the functioning of the front desk, lock-up facilities, malkhana (property room), and other administrative matters. He also examined the records of suspects held in custody and inspected the progress made on complaints registered by citizens at the front desk.
Addressing the Station House Officers (SHOs) and station clerks, DPO Touqeer Muhammad Naeem issued strict instructions to ensure that every citizen visiting the police station receives prompt and fair assistance. He stressed that negligence or injustice would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The DPO further directed officers to strengthen the police patrolling system to ensure effective action against criminal elements and to safeguard the lives and property of the public.
