To maintain law and order and ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property, District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha, Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem, has placed the entire district on high security alert and ordered a surprise General Hold-Up operation across major roads and highways.
The DPO personally remained in the field and paid surprise visits to checkpoints established at key entry and exit points of the city as well as other important locations. During the visits, he instructed police personnel to remain vigilant and perform their duties with utmost alertness. SP Investigation Imran Abbas Chadhar, along with all SDPOs and SHOs across the district, also remained active in their respective jurisdictions throughout the operation.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem said that the protection of citizens’ lives and property is the police’s top priority. He directed officers to ensure strict checking of suspicious individuals, vehicles without registration number plates, cars with tinted windows, and suspicious motorcycles at all checkpoints.
He further stated that the primary objective of the General Hold-Up is to prevent crime, apprehend proclaimed offenders, and crack down on lawbreakers, thereby maintaining a peaceful environment throughout the district and ensuring that citizens feel safe and secure.
