A special public awareness programme focusing on women’s empowerment, skills development, and economic independence was broadcast live from Radio Pakistan Sargodha FM 101 under the “Amplifying Voices Pakistan” project of HCR Foundation Pakistan.
Community Mobilizer Ramsha Rafiq was the chief guest, while Ambreen and Iqra, beneficiaries of HCR Foundation Pakistan’s various initiatives, also participated in the programme and shared their experiences and views. They said that with the support of HCR Foundation Pakistan, they had received opportunities to learn different skills, access employment opportunities, and become economically self-reliant.
Speaking on the occasion, Ramsha Rafiq said that HCR Foundation Pakistan was working at various levels for the welfare and development of communities. Its initiatives included providing skills training to women, empowering them, creating employment opportunities, and facilitating access to basic healthcare services.
She also gave a detailed overview of the foundation’s important “Roshan Ghar” project, which aims to equip women with skills and enable them to become economically independent and self-reliant.
During the programme, listeners of Radio Pakistan Sargodha FM 101 participated through live telephone calls and appreciated the initiative aimed at promoting women’s welfare and empowerment.
The programme was hosted by Nazia Qamar, while Studio Engineer Rana Qaiser Waqqas and Coordinator Nauman Shafiq provided technical and administrative support. The programme was broadcast live from Radio Pakistan Sargodha FM 101.
