The Asian Netball Championship 2026 Plate Division continued in Hong Kong, where Pakistan’s Women’s Netball Team secured an emphatic 72-23 victory over South Korea, their second win in three matches at the tournament.
The ‘Green Shirts’ put in a commanding performance, displaying excellent teamwork, discipline, and determination throughout the match. Lia Raza Shah, Farah, Noor-ul-Ain, and Samaya were among the standout performers, making valuable contributions to Pakistan’s dominant display.
Pakistan Netball Federation Chairman Zafar Iqbal Awan, President Malik Sameen Khan, and Secretary Muhammad Riaz congratulated the players, coaching staff, and officials on the win, and wished the team continued success in its remaining matches.
The Federation also extended its gratitude to the team’s official sponsors, JS Bank and VLEAD Inc., for their valuable support in promoting netball in Pakistan.
The final score of the match was Pakistan 72 – South Korea 23.
Pakistan will next face Chinese Taipei on Wednesday, August 12.
