The Asian Netball Championship 2026 Plate Division continued in Hong Kong, where Pakistan’s Women’s Netball Team defeated Chinese Taipei 55-38 to book their place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
The ‘Green Shirts’ delivered a commanding performance, displaying strong teamwork, discipline, and determination throughout the match to secure the win. Lia Hina Chaudhry, Raza Shah, Farah, Noor-ul-Ain, and Samaya Safdar were among the standout performers, playing key roles in Pakistan’s victory.
Pakistan Netball Federation Chairman Zafar Iqbal Awan, President Malik Amin Khan, and Secretary Muhammad Riaz congratulated the players, coaching staff, and officials on the achievement, and wished the team continued success in the matches ahead.
The Federation also extended its gratitude to the team’s official sponsors, JS Bank and VLEAD Inc., for their valuable support in promoting netball in Pakistan.
Pakistan will face Chinese Taipei once again in the semi-final, scheduled for Friday, August 14.
