A prestigious ceremony was held at the Government Graduate College for Women, Joharabad, to commemorate Pakistan’s Independence Day. Deputy Director Colleges, District Khushab, Prof. Dr. Iram Iqbal, attended the ceremony as the chief guest.
During the ceremony, the speakers highlighted the importance of love for the motherland, national unity, and paid tribute to the sacrifices made for the creation and security of Pakistan.

Addressing the students, Prof. Dr. Iram Iqbal urged them to make knowledge, high moral character, discipline, and hard work the guiding principles of their lives. She emphasized that students should play an active role in the development, prosperity, and progress of Pakistan by utilizing their abilities for the service of the nation.

She said, “Let us pledge that we will play our fullest role in keeping our beloved Pakistan on the path of development, peace, stability, and prosperity.” She further called upon the students to contribute positively to the country and work for a stronger and more prosperous Pakistan.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Iram Iqbal, along with the college staff, cut a cake to celebrate Independence Day. The college administration, faculty members, and students participated in the ceremony with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
