The District Education Authority, Khushab, organized a prize and certificate distribution ceremony at Government Technical High School, Jauharabad, to honour students who secured prominent positions in the annual Matriculation examinations.
Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber and Member of the National Assembly Malik Shakir Bashir Awan attended the ceremony as chief guests.
CEO Education Khushab Muhammad Isa Lali warmly welcomed the distinguished guests. The ceremony formally commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber said that students are the precious asset and bright future of the country. He congratulated the position holders on their outstanding academic performance and urged young people to channel their energies towards education and play their role in the development and progress of Pakistan. He advised the students to continue their studies with dedication, hard work and determination.
MNA Malik Shakir Bashir Awan said that revolutionary measures are being taken in the education sector under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, with positive results emerging. He said the Punjab government was taking practical steps to provide the younger generation with better opportunities for quality education.
The chief guests distributed prizes and certificates among the high-achieving students and congratulated their parents and teachers. They expressed their best wishes for the position holders and encouraged them to maintain their excellent performance in the future.
