A meeting was held in Sargodha under the chairmanship of Chairman Punjab Mutahida Ulema Board, Dr. Mufti Intikhab Ahmed Noori, to review in detail the security and administrative arrangements for the central processions, religious gatherings and other programmes to be held on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ.
Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali said that foolproof security and the best possible arrangements would be ensured on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ. He directed all concerned departments to perform their duties through effective coordination and mutual cooperation. He further stressed that cleanliness, removal of encroachments, smooth flow of traffic, adequate lighting and other necessary facilities along the procession routes must be ensured in a timely manner.
Chairman Punjab Mutahida Ulema Board Dr. Mufti Intikhab Ahmed Noori said that promoting peace, religious tolerance and brotherhood was a collective responsibility. He urged religious scholars, religious organisations and procession organisers to extend full cooperation to the district administration and police so that all Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ programmes could be held peacefully, respectfully and in an orderly manner.
