Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Khawar Bashir Ahmed has directed revenue officials to ensure timely implementation of the Board of Revenue (BOR) initiatives within the prescribed timelines and accelerate the recovery of outstanding government revenue dues.
He emphasized that field officers must conduct effective monitoring to achieve targets related to revenue matters and ensure that pending cases are resolved on a priority basis. He expressed these views while chairing a review meeting on progress regarding various revenue initiatives.
Assistant Commissioners, officers of the Punjab Revenue Authority, Tehsildars and other revenue officials attended the meeting. Detailed discussions were held on progress regarding various BOR initiatives, recovery of government revenue dues, pending cases and other related matters. The concerned officers briefed the meeting on ongoing measures and progress in their respective areas.
The ADC Revenue directed the officers to ensure transparency and merit in resolving public complaints related to revenue matters, recovering government dues and dealing with other official affairs. He further instructed field officers to remain present in the field, regularly monitor revenue-related matters and make every possible effort to achieve the prescribed targets without negligence.
