A special women’s gathering was organized at Ladies Club Jinnah Bagh to offer prayers and pay tribute on the death anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The event was chaired by Madam Ambreen Farooq, while Dr. Parveen Khan attended as the chief guest.
The participants included Safia Ishaq, Rubina Shaheen, General Secretary Shafaq Mustafa, Nazia Butt, Farah Khaliq, Miss Farina Barki, Poonam Gondal, Farzana Butt, Falahat Imran, Amina Sheikh, Iffat Tahir, Nabila Akbar, Taskeen Shahid, and women from various walks of life.
On this occasion, Dr. Zeb-un-Nisa Saroya delivered a detailed talk on Allama Iqbal’s philosophy of “Khudi” (selfhood). She highlighted his thoughts and ideas, stating that Iqbal’s message continues to serve as a guiding light for the younger generation.
