A prestigious event titled “Successful Women” was organized by the National Women Journalists Forum under the auspices of the Pakistan Media Writers Club.
The chief guests of the ceremony were President of the National Women Journalists Forum Farzana Chaudhry, Rabia Azmat (Member Governing Body, Lahore Press Club), and Najaf (Finance Secretary), while the event was chaired by Chairman of Pakistan Media Writers Club, Iftikhar Khan.
Other distinguished guests included senior journalist Fazal Hussain Awan (Nawai Waqt), Asim Latif (Production Incharge, Daily City 42), senior journalist Muhammad Shahzad (Voice of Germany), Shahid Hanif (Lahore Rang News), Tabish Butt (Anchor, Bol News), Iqra Mughal (Assignment Editor, Abb Takk News), and Nabeela Akbar (President Women Wing, Pakistan Media Writers Club). The event also received special support from Manza Samuel (Executive Member) from the UK.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Iftikhar Khan said that the event was organized in honor of Farzana Chaudhry and Rabia Azmat. He emphasized that encouraging women for their achievements is essential to boost their confidence so that they can work alongside men and demonstrate their abilities in journalism and other fields.
President of the National Women Journalists Forum, Farzana Chaudhry, stated that women have proven they are equal to men in capabilities and are performing remarkably in every field.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Iftikhar Khan thanked all the guests and remarked that the event was special because both the chief guests and the organizers were women. The event concluded with a grand dinner.
