Egypt has appreciated Pakistan’s sincere efforts for promoting regional peace and stability.
This appreciation was conveyed by Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty during a conversation with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar today.
The two leaders exchanged views on the evolving regional situation.
They also discussed matters related to regional consultative forum of the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, and Egypt.
The discussion also covered ongoing engagements pertaining to the UN Security Council and broader multilateral diplomatic developments.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister commended Pakistan’s successful humanitarian facilitation in the repatriation of twenty Iranian and eleven Pakistani seafarers via Singapore, who had been aboard vessels seized by the United States.
Badr Abdelatty also reiterated the invitation to Ishaq Dar to visit Egypt for bilateral consultations at his earliest convenience.
Both sides agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on regional and international developments.
