Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, has ordered strict monitoring of Hajj welfare staff during the Mashair days.

Radio Pakistan Correspondent Asad Ullah Khan reports from Makkah that monitoring of all staff, including Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj, Maktab administrators (Nazmeen), and seasonal duty staff (SDS), will be made exceptionally rigorous and proactive through key performance monitoring system to assess the quality of service.

In a meeting in Makkah today, he said the move aims to ensure optimal guidance and the provision of maximum facilities to Pakistani pilgrims.

The Minister emphasised that serving the guests of Allah is a profound privilege and a heavy responsibility, and that absolutely no negligence will be tolerated.

Secretary Religious Affairs Abrar Ahmed Mirza has also issued a stern warning, stating that any laxity or carelessness in serving the pilgrims will invite strict consequences.
