Tens of thousands of Muslims from across the globe, including Pakistan, have reached Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj rituals starting from Monday.
Radio Pakistan Correspondent Asad Ullah Khan reports from Makkah that Pakistan’s Hajj quota for this year is 179,210 and the majority of them have already arrived in the Kingdom.
The intending pilgrims will start departing for Mina between midnight of the 7th and 8th of Zil Hajj to perform Hajj rituals.
The Saudi authorities have allotted Maktab to all the Hujjaj and every pilgrim will have to stay in his respective tent and Maktab.
The Maktab have distributed wristbands at the residences of pilgrims. Three-time meals will be served to Pakistani pilgrims during their stay in Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah under the arrangements of the Pakistan Hajj Mission. Pakistan has been allotted 37 Maktab in Mina zones 2, 4, and 5.
About 60 percent of Pakistani pilgrims will avail the train facility, while buses have been arranged for the rest of the pilgrims for their movement in Mashair. Pakistan Hajj Mission in Makkah will extend all kinds of guidance to the Hujjaj during their stay in Mashair.
It is advised that all Hujjaj ensure sufficient intake of water and use umbrellas during Hajj days to avoid heat and dehydration.
