Azad Kashmir Government has rejected a recent report published by the British Broadcasting Corporation regarding recent situation in Kashmir as being contrary to the facts.
Addressing a news conference today [Monday], Secretary Information Azad Jammu and Kashmir Muhammad Rashid Hanif termed the report angled, biased, and contrary to the facts.
He said the facts and figures presented in the report are not only incorrect, but were also published without any verification or confirmation from any government institution, the police, or the civil administration. He said this is contrary to the ethics of journalism and professionalism.
Muhammad Rashid Hanif said the allegations made by the proscribed Joint Awami Action Committee are not only false and misleading, but are also part of an organized campaign of misinformation and propaganda.
