District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Khushab, Ali Hussain, said that an awareness and training seminar was organized at the Rescue 1122 office in Khushab for rescue volunteers in connection with International Youth Day 2026.
The seminar aimed to highlight the vital role of youth and volunteers, educate them on effectively responding to emergencies, promote community safety, and ensure the active participation of young volunteers in public awareness and safety initiatives.
On the occasion, District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Khushab Ali Hussain conducted a special briefing session for the participants. He provided detailed guidance to rescue volunteers on their responsibilities during emergencies, first aid, safe procedures during accidents and disasters, and ways to promote safety awareness within the community.
Ali Hussain said that young people are a valuable asset to any society and that trained volunteers can play a significant role in protecting human lives during emergencies, natural disasters and other accidents. He urged rescue volunteers to utilize their training and skills to educate people in their respective areas about safety precautions, first aid and appropriate responses during emergency situations.
The participants were also briefed on registration through the Rescue Scout Portal, the responsibilities of Rescue Scouts, community safety, and the role of volunteers in public awareness campaigns.
The participants appreciated the initiatives of Rescue 1122 Khushab for training young people and volunteers and preparing them to serve their communities effectively.
