Secretary Local Government Punjab Zaid bin Masood, accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner Khushab, paid a special visit to Tehsil Noorpur, Rangpur Baghour and Chak No. 51/D.B. to inspect ongoing development projects being executed under the Local Government Department.
During the visit, the Secretary reviewed various development schemes, including water supply and sewerage lines, Punjab Rural Municipal Services Company (PRMSC) projects and other mega development projects. He inspected the progress and quality of the ongoing works and reviewed the facilities being provided to the local population.
Deputy Director Development Sohail Sikandar Ranjha and officers of the Local Government Department, Tehsil Noorpur, briefed the Secretary about the ongoing development schemes, their progress and other related matters.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Local Government Punjab Zaid bin Masood directed the concerned officers to ensure that all ongoing projects and development works were completed within the prescribed time frame and according to the approved schedule. He further emphasized that high-quality and standard construction materials must be used in all development projects to ensure durability and transparency.
Local Government officers and other concerned officials were also present during the visit.
