Former District Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Khushab, Advocate Malik Muhammad Waris Jasra, has said that Islam is a complete code of life, while its noble teachings serve as a beacon of guidance for all humanity. He said that by sincerely adhering to the teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah, an ideal, peaceful and morally upright society can be established.
Speaking exclusively to the media, Malik Muhammad Waris Jasra said that Islam provides clear and comprehensive guidance for every aspect of human life. In addition to worship, Islamic teachings provide a complete code of conduct regarding social relations, business, justice, the rights of others and mutual brotherhood, which serve as a guiding light for humanity.
He said that the root cause of many problems confronting society today is the growing distance from Islamic values and moral principles. There is an urgent need to strengthen our relationship with the Holy Quran and Sunnah, mold our character and conduct in accordance with Islamic teachings, and promote love, tolerance, justice and brotherhood while respecting the rights of others.
Malik Muhammad Waris Jasra further said that Islam teaches peace, love, equality and service to humanity. If Islamic teachings are made an integral part of our individual and collective lives, it will be possible to eliminate injustice, lawlessness and moral decline from society and lay a strong foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and exemplary society.
