DIG Prisons Sargodha Region Saeed Ullah Gondal, accompanied by Superintendent Jail Rao Kashif, conducted a detailed inspection of District Jail Shahpur.
During the visit, the DIG inspected the jail’s security arrangements, hospital, kitchen, grain store, welfare store and jail factory. He also listened to the concerns and problems of prisoners and their families.
DIG Saeed Ullah Gondal issued directions to further improve security, cleanliness, food quality, medical facilities and welfare services for the prisoners. He stressed the need to ensure better facilities and effective arrangements for the well-being of inmates.
At the conclusion of the visit, the DIG planted a sapling in the jail premises as part of the plantation initiative.
