Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has put health department on high alert in view of rising cases of dengue virus.

In a statement in Peshawar today, Adviser to Caretaker Chief Minister on health Dr. Riaz Anwar said teams have been formed to controlling the spread of the virus.

He said steps have been taken well in time to ensure preventive measures against the spreading of the Dengue Virus.

He said dengue situation is being monitored in all districts of the province including tribal districts and effective Health measures are being taken to prevent dengue larvae in every district.
