COVID-19 vaccines have saved almost 20 million lives worldwide.

It was stated by a latest study published in “The Lancet Infectious Diseases’.

It analysed the data on vaccination rates, coronavirus fatalities and excess death records from 185 countries.

Vaccines prevented 1.9 million in US, 1 million in Brazil and 507,000 in UK.

The researchers say the numbers would’ve been “catastrophic” if vaccines weren’t available.
