Pakistani cueists showcased dominant form on day five of the IBSF World Masters, U17, U21 & Men 6-Red Snooker Championships 2025, being held in Manama from July 13 to 24.

Muhammad Hasnain, Ahsan Ramzan, and Muhammad Asif all registered emphatic 4-0 victories in their respective matches. Hasnain outclassed Egypt’s Mohamed Abdelkader with a break of 70 in the opening frame, while Ramzan recorded two straight wins, including a strong performance against Sami Al Hamrashadi of Oman, registering a 50-point break.

Veteran player Muhammad Asif displayed his precision with back-to-back high breaks of 66 and 75 to cruise past Jay Chopra of Ireland 4-0.

Ramzan later defeated Abdullah Mohammed of Bahrain 4-0 as well, continuing his unbeaten run.

In the day’s only loss for Pakistan, Hasnain Akhtar fell 4-2 to Chau Hon Man of Hong Kong, despite Akhtar firing breaks of 69 and 67 in two frames.

The Pakistani contingent’s strong showing signals their serious contention for medals in the ongoing championship.
