
Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has urged the developed countries to fulfill their commitments to mobilize one hundred billion dollars annually for climate finance to counter the challenge of climate change.
Addressing a ceremony in connection with the climate change in Islamabad on Tuesday, he called upon international community to devise regional protocols instead of fragmented responses to mitigate the adverse impacts of climate change.
The Minister expressed commitment to increase the share of renewable energy to sixty percent of the total energy mix by 2030.
