A joint meeting of Senate and National Assembly’s Standing Committees on Law and Justice was held in Islamabad today to consider the Constitution (Twenty-Seventh Amendment) Bill, 2025.
The meeting decided that an extensive and clause-by-clause deliberation and review of the Bill will be undertaken to ensure thorough examination of all its provisions.
The meeting was co-chaired by respective Chairpersons of both Committees Senator Farooq H. Naek and MNA Chaudhry Mahmood Bashir Virk.
The meeting decided to continue deliberations in the next sitting scheduled for tomorrow morning to further consider the Bill.
