On the observance of International Justice Day on Sunday, justice continues to elude the victims of Indian state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

An analytical report released by Kashmir Media Service, says Kashmiris continue to face atrocities, discrimination and injustice at the hands of Indian troops and judiciary.

The report said Indian troops, enjoying impunity under draconian laws are committing grave human rights abuses, in fact, war crimes to suppress the Kashmiris’ voice and just struggle for right to self-determination.

The report said justice has not been delivered to the victims of mass killings like Gaw Kadal, Kupwara, Handwara, Sopore and Bijbehara massacres and Kunanposhpora mass rape, Shopian double rape and murder case and rape and murder of Kathua minor girl in the territory.

It said Indian judiciary, without fulfilling the basic requirements of justice, sentenced Kashmiri liberation leaders, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru, just for being Kashmiris.

Meanwhile, addressing a condolence meeting in Sopore town on Sunday, senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt said due to unparalleled sacrifices rendered by Kashmiri people, Kashmir dispute has become a focus of attention at the international level.

He said Pakistan and India must end their hostilities and initiate dialogue to settle dispute for ensuring durable peace and prosperity in the region.

Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, headed by incarcerated APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, in a statement in Srinagar expressed serious concern over the worsening human rights situation in IIOJK.

It said unrelenting violence and bloodshed by Indian troops in the occupied territory warrants urgent attention of the world community.
