Latest Henley Passport Index from Henley & Partners, Japan, Singapore and South Korea have
the most powerful passports. A Japanese passport provides hassle-free entry to 193 countries,
one more than those from Singapore and South Korea. Russian travel documents are ranked
50th, giving easy access to 119 nations. China placed 69th with access to 80 countries, India’s
passport ranked 87th, Bangladesh ranked 10th, Pakistan ranked 4th worst passport in the world
again and Afghanistan’s passport is the least useful, getting the holder into only 27 countries.
Pakistan are war-torn countries of Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Japanese passport is now undisputedly the world’s most powerful passport.Singapore previously shared the top spot with Japan but it dropped down to second place andnow shares the spot with another Asian country, i.e. South Korea. This makes Asian countriesgrabbing the top two spots.

Germany and Spain share the 3rd spot making their passports the strongest in Europe.Apart
from Asia and Europe, New Zealand leads Oceania with 7th spot, United States lead the North
American continent with 8th spot, Chile tops South America with 16th global ranking and
Seychelles lead Africa with 28th position. Pakistani passport is even weaker than the passports
of countries like Sudan, Libya, North Korea, Palestine, Somalia and Yemen.In Muslim majority
countries, Malaysia holds the most powerful passport with 13th global position.
