Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf says a strong parliament is interlinked with professionalism and vibrant role of its staffers.
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of the ‘9th National Parliamentary Development Course’ organised by Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services for parliamentary staffers of the National Assembly, Senate, provincial assemblies, and legislative assemblies of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, in Islamabad on Monday.
The Speaker said the objective of this course is to develop and enhance the skills of parliamentary staff so they can work with up-to-date and efficient oversight tools and techniques for the smooth running of the house business.
He said all parliamentary staff is honoured to serve in the most sacred institution, which also renders them to be responsible for their work.
