An anti-polio campaign of varied duration will begin across the country on Monday.
During the campaign, children up to five years of age will be administered polio drops to safeguard them against crinkling disease.
A week-long anti-polio campaign will commence in Sindh on Monday.
More than eighty thousand polio workers will go door to door to administer vaccine to over ten million children of upto 5 years of age in 30 districts of the province.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, more than seven point four million children up to five years of age will be administered Polio vaccine drops.
According to Emergency Operation Center, during campaign thirty one thousand teams will visit door to door to vaccinate children.
In Balochistan, a seven day anti–polio drive will also begin on Monday.
According to Coordinator Emergency Operation Center Balochistan Syed Zahid Shah, during the drive more than 2.5 million children up to five years of age would be administered anti-polio drops.
He said more than eleven thousand polio teams have been constituted for the purpose.
Meanwhile, a five-day anti-polio campaign will begin in AJK on Monday.
Over seven hundred thousand children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio vaccine drops.
Four thousand mobile teams have been constituted to administer vaccine drops to children.
