Pakistan on Sunday defeated India by eight wickets to win the Under-19 Aisa Cup match in Dubai.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first against arch-rivals India. Pakistan restricted India to 259/9 in 50 overs.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Zeeshan took four wickets while Amir Hassan and Obaid Shah took two wickets each.
In reply, Azan Awais’s century and fifties from Shahzaib Khan and Saad Baig helped Pakistan chase down 260 runs with eight wickets in hand.
Azan Awais got man of the match award for his stunning century. He scored unbeaten 105 runs to guide his team over the line.
On Saturday, Pakistan had a winning start of the tournament when they beat Nepal by seven wickets.
Pakistan continue on top of the group A points table with two wins in a row while India suffered its first defeat in two games so far.
Earlier, Pakistan skipper Saad Baig said after the toss that they would try to restrict India to a low total to continue winning streak.
On the other hand, India captain Uday Saharan said he would have batted if he had won the toss. The team would put up a big total and try to bowl out the opponent.
