President Asif Ali Zardari has decided not to draw his salary in view of prevailing economic challenges.According to a press release issued by the presidency, the President took this decision to encourage prudent financial management in the country.He considered it essential not to burden the national exchequer and preferred to forgo his salary.
On the other hand, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has also decided not to take his salary.In his post on X, Mohsin Naqvi said that he is proud to serve the nation as the Federal Minister of Interior and Narcotics.The head of the Pakistan Cricket Board added that he has decided not to take his salary during this period, while he is determined to support and serve his nation in every possible way during this difficult time.
