Minister for Petroleum, Musadik Malik has said that government’s committed to put economy of the country on growth trajectory.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore today, he highlighted government’s efforts to boost economy, extending invitations to foreign companies to invest in Pakistan’s different sectors.

The Minister appreciated interest shown by Saudi Arabia in diverse fields.

He expressed the hope that meetings between Pakistani and Saudi businessmen to explore avenues for mutual cooperation, with a focus on trade facilitation will yield positive results.

The Minister said Pakistan has a huge potential for investors to invest in copper and mines.

Musadik Malik said Government is working to reduce the gap between imports and exports to decrease trade deficit.
