In the T20 World Cup 2024 match, held at the Kensington Oval in Barbados capital Bridgetown, Namibia ended up scoring 109-6 in 20 overs while chasing 110 against Oman.
The winning team required two runs on the final ball but Wiese failed to get bat on ball. However, the wicketkeeper wasn’t able to grab the ball cleanly either as Wiese and Malan Kruger ran across and completed the run.
Jan Frylinck scored 45 runs in 48 balls with the help of six fours and was his team’s highest run scorer.
Mehran Khan, who also bowled the final over of the innings, registered superb figures of 3-7 in four overs for Oman.

Left-arm pacer Ruben Trumpelmann gave his side the perfect start with back-to-back wickets on the first two balls of the innings as opener Kashyap Prajapati and captain Aqib Ilyas were dismissed without troubling the scorers.
After the disastrous start, Oman failed to recover and kept on losing wickets at regular intervals.
