The Pakistan Billiards & Snooker Association finalized snooker team representing Pakistan at the IBSF World Snooker Championships (Men & Masters) – 2024, taking place in Doha, Qatar.

Team Members:

  • Asjad Iqbal (Men Snooker Championship Last 64 Qualifying Round)
  • Ahsan Ramzan (Men Snooker Championship Last 64 Qualifying Round)
  • Muhammad Asif (Men Last 64 Qualifying Round & Masters Championships)
  • Naveed Kapadia (Delegate cum Officiating Referee)
  • Muhammad Aqeel (Officiating Referee)

Asjad Iqbal and Ahsan Ramzan will compete in the Men Championship qualifying round (Last 64), while Muhammad Asif will participate in both the Men Championship qualifying round and the Masters Championship.

Departure Details: The players will depart for Doha on Sunday, 27th October 2024, at 7 AM from Karachi via Gulf Air, Flight No. GF 751.

Additionally, Awais Ullah Munir and Muhammad Naseem Akhtar have qualified directly for the Men Snooker Championship Last 48 based on their Asian Snooker Rankings. They will be departing for Qatar on 1st November 2024, at 7 AM from Karachi, also via Gulf Air, Flight No. GF 751.

Training Camp: A practice and training camp for the above-mentioned players was held in Lahore from 15th to 24th October 2024 to prepare for the championships. The association is hopeful that the players will achieve success and bring home world titles.
