Shreyas Iyer was the top scorer for India with 79 runs, while Hardik Pandya contributed 45 and Axar Patel scored 42 runs. KL Rahul made 23, Ravindra Jadeja 16, captain Rohit Sharma 15, Virat Kohli 11, Mohammad Shami 5, Shubman Gill 2, and Kuldeep Yadav scored 1 run.
For New Zealand, Matt Henry was the leading bowler with 5 wickets. Mitchell Santner, Will Young, Kyle Jamieson, and Rachin Ravindra each took one wicket.
With this win, India, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa have all advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament.
