President Asif Ali Zardari held separate meetings with Pakistan’s ambassadors-designate to Morocco, Switzerland, and the Philippines.
Those, who called on the President include ambassador-designate to Morocco Syed Adil Gilani, ambassador-designated to Switzerland Dr. Marghoob Saleem Butt, and ambassador-designate to the Philippines. Dr. Asma Rabbani.
The President emphasized that the ambassadors-designate should work to strengthen trade, economic, political, and diplomatic relations with the host countries.
He expressed a desire for increased cooperation in business and investment sectors with all friendly nations.
The President congratulated the ambassadors-designate on assuming their new responsibilities and extended his best wishes to them.
