The star of the match was Muneeba Ali, who produced a sensational unbeaten century, guiding her side to chase down the 156-run target with ease. Despite the win, Ireland clinched the three-match T20I series 2-1, having won the first two games.

Muneeba Ali’s innings was a standout performance. The left-handed opener scored 100 off 68 balls*, hitting 14 fours and 1 six. This was her second century in T20 Internationals, underlining her status as one of Pakistan’s most reliable batters in the shortest format.

Earlier, Ireland Women won the toss and opted to bat first, posting a competitive 155/4 in 20 overs. Captain Gaby Lewis and Amy Hunter provided a solid start, putting up 52 runs for the opening wicket. Lewis scored 36 off 22 balls, including 8 boundaries, before being trapped leg-before by Rameen Shamim. Amy Hunter followed soon after, dismissed by Waheeda Akhtar for 29.

Ireland’s innings was anchored by Orla Prendergast, who remained not out on 64 off 46 balls, hitting 8 fours. This marked her second half-century of the series and ninth in T20Is. Late cameos helped Ireland reach a strong total, with Fatima Sana, Sadia Iqbal, Rameen Shamim, and Waheeda Akhtar each claiming a wicket.

In response, Pakistan got off to a flying start. Muneeba Ali began the innings by smashing three consecutive boundaries off the first three balls. Despite losing Shawaal Zulfiqar for 3 and Natalia Pervaiz for 9, Pakistan remained in control.

Muneeba then partnered with Aliya Riaz, and the duo added an unbroken 101-run stand for the third wicket. Riaz played her role to perfection, scoring 39 off 27 balls*, including 5 fours.

Pakistan chased down the target in 17.4 overs, finishing at 156/2 and sealing a consolation win in the series.
