Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has announced the closure of the Utility Stores Corporation across the country.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, the Minister said rights of all USC employees had been fully protected under the directives of the Prime Minister.
The Minister said a consensus has been reached between the government and the USC employees’ union to provide a comprehensive severance package worth 28.2 billion rupees.
