The passing-out parade of the twenty first batch of Northern Light Infantry was held at Bunji in District Astore, Gilgit-Baltistan.
The Chief Guest of the ceremony was the Force Commander of Northern Areas.
A total of nine hundred one cadets of Northern Light Infantry successfully completed their military training.
Addressing the ceremony, the Force Commander of Northern Areas said that Gilgit Scouts, Northern Scouts, and Karakoram Scouts have always written eternal tales of courage and bravery.
Highlighting the bravery of NLI, He said that NLI set examples of valor from snow-covered peaks of Siachen to the battlefront of Kargil.
He further said that the brave soldiers of NLI have set examples of valor and made unparalleled sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
The Chief Guest extended heartfelt congratulations to the passing-out cadets and their parents and distributed awards to cadets who demonstrated outstanding performance.
