Minister of State for Education Wajiha Qamar has said initiatives have been taken to improve the quality of education in educational institutions.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, she said initiatives included improvement of digital and other infrastructure in the educational institutions.
She mentioned that the Higher Education Commission has launched an integrated automation suite MAKTAB to transform universities by uplifting their core academic, administrative and financial functions. She said it has been implemented in twenty-five universities and will be introduced in all the public sector universities.
