Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Moldova in trade, agriculture, defence, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, information technology, education and professional training.
Addressing a ceremony marking the appointment of Syed Kashif Ali as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova in Pakistan in Dubai, Syed Yousaf Gilani described the opening of the Honorary Consulate as a significant milestone in Pakistan-Moldova relations.
Emphasising Pakistan’s growing role in parliamentary diplomacy, he highlighted the importance of parliaments in promoting dialogue, confidence-building measures and long-term international cooperation.
