District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab, Dr. Ammara Shirazi, conducted visits to various Imambargahs and mosques across the district to ensure effective security arrangements ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
During the visits, she thoroughly reviewed the security measures in place and directed the concerned officers to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property at all costs during Ramadan. She inspected entry and exit points, checked the functionality of CCTV cameras, and reviewed the installation of walk-through gates.
Dr. Ammara Shirazi instructed that police patrolling around important locations be increased and that strict vigilance be maintained over suspicious individuals to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure timely response in case of emergencies.
The DPO also met with religious scholars and local administration officials, emphasizing the importance of mutual cooperation. She stated that Ramadan teaches peace, brotherhood, and tolerance, and urged all schools of thought to demonstrate unity and harmony during the sacred month.
