
The United States and Israel have launched attack against Iran.
According to the Iranian media, strikes have been reported in the cities of Isfahan, Qom, Lorestan, Karaj, Kermanshah and Tabriz as well as the capital Tehran.
A US official has said that the US strikes are currently focused on military targets.
Meanwhile, an Iranian official has told foreign media that Tehran is preparing for a response to US-Israeli attacks, and the counterattacks are set to be crushing.
Iran, Israel and Iraq have also closed their airspaces.
Meanwhile, Iran has also launched missiles and drones towards Israel following the US-Israeli attacks.
Talking to foreign media, a senior Iranian official has said that all American and Israeli assets in the Middle East have become a legitimate target.
On the other hand, an online freedom watchdog Netblocks says Iran is experiencing a near-total internet blackout.
However, at least fifty seven students were martyred and sixty others injured in an Israeli air strike targeting a girl’s school in Minab, Hormozgan Province.
According to the Governor of Minab, fifty three students are still under the rubble and rescue operations are underway.
In a post on social media platform X, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran will teach the aggressors a lesson they deserve.
The Foreign Minister also held a telephonic conversation with his counterparts from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Iraq, following the US-Israeli attacks on the country.
Meanwhile, at least eight states including Iran, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates declared their airspace closed following the conflict.
