A review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Lober to assess the distribution of the Nighaban Ramadan Ration Cards, cleanliness arrangements during the holy month of Ramadan, prices of essential food items, daily performance of magistrates, and actions taken against profiteering.
Among those present at the meeting were Assistant Commissioner Khushab Chaudhry Ziaullah, CEO District Council Jauharabad Ali Furqan, District Incharge Pera Force Noor Muhammad, Israr Qureshi from Local Government, Secretary Market Committee Shahbaz Waraich, Urban Manager Socio-Economic District Khushab Kashif Randhawa, and officers from various departments.
The Deputy Commissioner issued necessary instructions to the participants to ensure effective implementation of government directives and strict monitoring of market prices to prevent unjust profiteering.
On this occasion, Urban Manager Socio-Economic District Khushab Kashif Randhawa informed the meeting that a total of 25,818 Chief Minister Punjab Ramadan Nighaban Ration Cards have so far been received. Out of these, 22,283 cards have already been distributed, while the distribution of the remaining 3,535 ration cards is in progress.
