
Deputy Commissioner Layyah, Asif Ali Dogar, visited Government Girls High School Chowk Azam. On this occasion, he distributed uniforms among deserving and underprivileged female students and also planted a sapling in the school as part of the ongoing tree plantation campaign.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that helping deserving and low-income segments of society is a form of continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah). He added that by encouraging students and boosting their confidence, they can be nurtured into capable and productive citizens who will serve the nation.
Chief Executive Officer District Education Authority Layyah, Dr. Muhammad Qayyum Khan, and District Education Officer Secondary Education, Muhammad Rizwan, were also present with him on the occasion. The teachers and students warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and appreciated this initiative promoting education and tree plantation.
