
Bangladesh national cricket team defeated Pakistan national cricket team by 11 runs in the third and deciding match to win the three-match ODI series 2–1 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first in the final ODI. Batting first, Bangladesh posted a competitive total of 290 for 5 in 50 overs. Opener Tanzid Hasan scored a brilliant 107 runs, while Litton Das contributed 41, Saif Hassan made 36, and Najmul Hossain Shanto added 27. Towhid Hridoy remained unbeaten with 44 runs.
For Pakistan, Haris Rauf claimed three wickets, while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Abrar Ahmed took one wicket each.
Chasing a target of 291 runs, Pakistan struggled early but fought back strongly thanks to a magnificent century by Salman Ali Agha. He scored 106 runs, including nine fours and four sixes, bringing Pakistan close to victory. However, the visitors were eventually bowled out for 279 runs on the final ball of the innings.
Other contributions came from Saad Masood with 38 runs, Shaheen Shah Afridi with 37, and Abdul Samad who scored 34 runs.
For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed took four wickets, while Mustafizur Rahman claimed three and Nahid Rana picked up two wickets.
With the victory, Bangladesh secured the ODI series 2–1, marking their first ODI series win over Pakistan in 11 years.
