Assistant Education Officer Rangpur Baghur, Malik Muhammad Imtiaz Naseem, officially inaugurated a tree plantation drive at Government Elementary School Zafarabad by planting a sapling. The event was attended by the school’s Headmaster Malik Abid Iqbal, teaching staff, and students.
Addressing the gathering, Assistant Education Officer Malik Muhammad Imtiaz Naseem emphasized that trees are a precious gift of nature, essential not only for a clean and pleasant environment but also for human life. He highlighted the importance of tree plantation in controlling environmental pollution and realizing the vision of a green and prosperous Pakistan.
He urged students to plant as many trees as possible and take responsibility for their care, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for future generations.
The school’s teachers also appreciated the initiative, pledging to plant more trees within the school premises and promote environmental awareness among students. The ceremony concluded with the plantation of additional saplings across the school grounds.
